LA RIEVOCAZIONE
La GENTLEMEN DRIVERS Asd e la “SCUDERIA Del TEMPO PERSO” organizzano la 6a edizione della COPPA UGO BARONE – SVOLTE DI POPOLI CLASSICA concorso dinamico di conservazione e restauro per vetture da competizione (le auto sfileranno su strada chiusa al traffico).
La particolarità è che da quest’anno ci caleremo nell’atmosfera della Cronoscalata “moderna” di velocità poichè condivideremo gli stessi giorni, lo stesso tracciato e lo stesso pubblico alternando le nostre partenze con quelle dei concorrenti del Trofeo Italiano Velocità Montagna.
La partecipazione è limitata alle vetture da competizione e sportive prodotte dalle origini fino al 1975.
Un ritorno al passato, per rivivere una emozionante pagina della straordinaria storia sportiva italiana.
Il Comitato organizzatore si riserva il pieno diritto di rifiutare qualsiasi domanda di iscrizione senza dover fornire alcuna giustificazione.
The GENTLEMEN DRIVERS Association and the “SCUDERIA DEL TEMPO PERSO” organize the 6th edition of the “Coppa Ugo Barone -Svolte di Popoli Classica”.
This event, occurring every two years, is restricted to 60 selected racing cars of high historical value, built from the beginning of the century until 1975.
The two days event is conceived as a “dynamic concours” for classic racing cars, to be judged on their conservation and restoration status, and it will be held on a road closed to traffic along the 10 kilometers of the historic uphill track “Svolte di Popoli”.
The edition of this year will be new and original: we will enter into the agonistic atmosphere of the official modern Hill-climb with which we will share the track and the audience in the same days. The starts of our participants will be alternated with those of the drivers of the Italian Speed Mountain Trophy.
The cars will receive the attentions of the case in a closed parking area under surveillance and a comfortable hospitality will be provided to the guests to whom an exclusive gala dinner in a characteristic historic residence will be also offered.
The Organizing Committee may also accept cars built after the year 1975 in consideration of their special historical value.
